Why join our superb team?

Team Welwyn members enjoy a full programme of club activities, which provide all ages and abilities with positive cycling experience. Team Welwyn is a Go Ride Club, providing activities for young cyclists in a safe, off-road environment. The Team is aiming to gain Club Mark accreditation.

In addition to training and racing, the Team also offers a programme of sociable leisure rides designed to make cycling accessible to riders of all abilities and experience. Team activities are friendly and supportive of new members.

The Team has links to local educational establishments and these complement the coaching provided by highly experienced club coaches with a well-established track record in developing riders of all ages to national standard, or to meet other personal cycling goals, whatever these may be – including getting started in sport or leisure riding for cycling novices. Both club coaches are qualified under both BC and ABCC coaching schemes.
